Fitting Formulas of Pressure Spike and Central Pressure of Point Contact EHL

摘要: 基于求解点接触弹流润滑(EHL)问题的高效直接算法,研究了点接触EHL状态下载荷、速度、材料参数对二次压力峰和中心压力的影响,在对大量数值解结果进行分析和回归的基础上,给出了二次压力峰和中心压力对载荷、速度、材料参数关系的拟合公式,并对拟合公式的精确性进行了检验,结果显示,在相当宽的参数范围内,所提出的拟合公式的计算结果与数值解的相对误差小于10%,为研究零件在点接触EHL状态下的最大应力及疲劳寿命预测提供了一个简单而实用的工具。Abstract: This paper presents a study on the effect of operating parameters on the pressure spike and central pressure under point contact Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication(EHL) state with a high effective iterative algorithm. Through making regression analysis for a amount of numerical results, two simple fitting formulas of pressure spike and central pressure are proposed for the operating parameters (dimensionless load, speed, and material parameter). The accuracy of the formulas is examined and it shows that in a wide range of operating parameters, the relative error between the fitting formulas and numerical solution is less 10 than percent. The current study provides a simple and useful tool for calculating maximum stress and fatigue life prediction of mechanical parts working under the point contact EHL state.
