Study on Finite Element Analysis of a Folding Crane Based on ANSYS Workbench

Abstract:
Folding crane is a kind of commonly used small crane, because of its unique use of convenience, low cost, then folding crane structure research is particularly important. This paper takes a folding crane as a research object, establishes its 3D model in SolidWorks software, and then import this model to ANSYS Workbench. Through statics analysis, a fold-down stress and strain situation of crane is acquired, it provides a basis for stucture optimization of the folding crane.
