Abstract:
Taking the bumper of an electric vehicle as the research object, UG software was used to create the geometric model of bumper firstly. The HyperMesh was used as the pre processing software, and the finite element software ABAQUS was used to analyze the deformation and displacement of the bumper during the collision process, the crashworthiness of the bumper was improved by changing the thickness, this study provided a certain reference value for the design of bumper.
