Tooth Contact Analysis of Micro-segment Spherical Gear Drives

摘要: 探讨了微线段环形齿球齿轮的构造过程,分析了球齿轮啮合过程中接触椭圆的变化规律,计算了微线段环形齿球齿轮的传动曲率与接触强度,建立了微线段环形齿球齿轮传动的参数化模型。采用有限元方法分析了微线段环形齿球齿轮轮齿的接触和弯曲应力,并与相同参数的渐开线球齿轮进行了对比分析。数值模拟结果表明,微线段环形齿球齿轮的接触应力和弯曲应力比渐开线球齿轮都有较大幅度的减少。Abstract: In this paper, the construction process of a micro-segment involute spherical gear is discussed. The movement rule of contact ellipses of the spherical gear pairs is analyzed, and the curvatures of gear transmission and contact stress of the spherical gear pairs are calculated. The three dimensional model of the micro-segment involute spherical gear is built. Finite element method is applied to perform bending stress analysis and tooth contact stress analysis of micro-segment involute spherical gear. Compared with the involute spherical gear with the same parameters, it can conclude that the contact stress and the bending stress of micro-segment involute spherical gear have large reduction.
