Design and Stiffness Characteristic Analysis of a Variable Cross-section Spring

摘要: 根据超越弹簧离合器高速化, 轻质化的应用需求, 在弹簧扭矩变化规律分析基础上, 基于等强度原理, 得到了弹簧截面的变化规律和弹簧螺旋线方程。应用MATLAB和Pro/E建立了变截面弹簧的三维数值模型。采用有限元方法, 对弹簧离合器在传递过程的应力和弹簧的径向、轴向、扭转刚度特性进行了分析。结果表明:设计的变截面弹簧在传递扭矩过程中, 应力均匀, 变截面弹簧达到了轻质、等寿命的设计要求;弹簧的径向刚度呈非线性, 而扭矩刚度和轴向刚度呈线性。Abstract: According to the application requirements for high-speed and lightweight of the overrunning spring clutch,after analyzing the spring torque variation,the spring-sectional variation law and spring spiral equation are established based on the equal strength principle. The MATLAB and Pro/E are applied to establish the three-di-mensional model of the variable cross-section spring. The stress of the spring clutch in transfer process and the ra-dial,axial,tensional stiffness characteristics of the spring are numerically analyzed by the finite element method. The results illustrate that the design of the variable cross-section spring has the uniform stress during the torque transmission process and achieves the goal of light-weight and equal life. The radial rigidity of the variable section spring is nonlinear,and the torsion rigidity and axial rigidity are linear.
