图书馆监控环境中一种改进的传感器时间调度算法

摘要:
在无线传感器网络中,针对不同的应用环境,利用合适的中间件服务算法来控制能量消耗是十分重要的,也是设计难点之一。另一方面,在常见的应用中,以图书馆监控系统为例,用户总是希望系统能够有效覆盖尽可能大的范围。同时,节约能量和最大化覆盖范围往往要和传感器之间的连通性以及传感器自身的能量管理机制统筹考虑。针对典型的应用于监控的无线传感器网络,提出了一套改进型传感器控制算法。该算法针对不同的需要,同时考虑能量节约与覆盖率两大因素,做到对两者合理平衡。该算法分成两个版本:中心式控制和分布式算法。为了衡量所提出算法的性能,与集中已有的参考算法进行了多方面比较。实验结果有力证明了所提出的算法的优势。

Abstract:
In common applications of wireless sensor networks such as library surveillance system,the maximalcoverage area is always desirable, and it is important to utilize the appropriate middleware service protocol to controlenergy dissipation. At the same time,the maximal coverage area and energy conservation should be balanced andconsidered together with the connection among the sensors and its energy management mechanism. We propose animproved wireless sensor scheduling algorithm and apply it to a library surveillance system. The scheduling algo-rithm has two ways: centralized sensor scheduling and distributive sensor scheduling. The centralized sensor sched-uling wakes up intermittently with the empirical time interval of the initial sensor nodes. We simulate the performances of the algorithm with the MATLAB and compare them with those of other algorithms. The simulation results,given in Figs. 1 through 4,and their analysis show preliminarily that our sensor scheduling algorithm is superior toother algorithms in terms of coverage ratio and number of active nodes.
